The Empath Wellness Oracle App provides oracle card guidance based on the Mind/Body/Soul Energy Wellness System. The service includes:

Seeker (Free): 3 basic card readings per 30-day period
Mystic Tier:

Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis. One-time purchases are valid for 30 days from the date of payment, after which your account returns to the free Seeker tier. All prices are in USD. Payment is processed at the current exchange rate — your card is charged the exact dollar equivalent. Card draw limits reset on a rolling 30-day basis from your account creation or payment date — not on the first of each calendar month.
Payments are processed securely through PayFast. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method monthly.
Display Currency: All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) for international convenience. The prices shown — $3/month for Mystic and $7/month for Sage — represent the intended charge at the time of publication.
Processing Currency: All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR) via PayFast, a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. The ZAR amount charged corresponds to the USD price displayed, converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of your transaction.
Exchange Rate Variance: Because transactions are processed in ZAR, the exact amount charged to your card in your local currency may vary slightly from the displayed USD price due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of display and the time of processing. We are not responsible for any such variance. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept that minor differences may occur due to live exchange rates.
Foreign Transaction Fees: Your bank or card provider may apply their own foreign transaction fees or currency conversion charges. These fees are outside our control and are not included in the displayed price. We are not responsible for any additional charges applied by your financial institution.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. In the event of a price change, existing active subscribers will be notified by email no less than 30 days prior to the change taking effect. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. One-time purchasers are not affected by pricing changes for their current purchase period.
No Guarantee of Rate: The USD equivalent shown at checkout is indicative only. The actual USD value received by us may differ from the displayed price due to exchange rate movements. This does not constitute a misrepresentation of price.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
NO REFUNDS
All sales are final. We do not provide refunds under any circumstances, including for:

✗ Dissatisfaction with readings
✗ Technical issues on your end
✗ Change of mind after purchase
If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current paid period. No exceptions.
One-Time Purchases: Valid for 30 days from date of payment. After 30 days, your account automatically returns to the free Seeker tier. No refunds for one-time purchases under any circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shed and Shift and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.
All content on Empath Wellness Oracle — including but not limited to card readings, extended readings, journal prompts, artwork, imagery, and text — is the exclusive intellectual property of Shed and Shift and is protected by copyright law.
You may not reproduce, copy, screenshot, record, scrape, distribute, publish, share, sell, or create derivative works from any content on this platform, in whole or in part, without prior written permission from Shed and Shift. This applies to all content whether accessed via a free or paid account.
Unauthorised copying or distribution of paid content, including extended readings, constitutes a breach of these terms and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service, you agree to first contact us at hello@shedandshift.com to attempt to resolve the matter informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the laws of South Africa before any legal proceedings are initiated. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Shed and Shift with respect to your use of the service. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein. No oral representations or statements shall be construed as a warranty or guarantee.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.
By creating an account, ticking the acceptance checkbox at signup, or proceeding to payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Your electronic acceptance carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature under applicable electronic commerce legislation.
This service is operated from South Africa and is available to international users. By using the service, international users agree that South African law governs these Terms and that any disputes shall be handled in South African courts. You are responsible for compliance with any local laws applicable in your own jurisdiction. We make no representation that the service is appropriate or available for use in all countries.
By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider for any reason that is addressed and covered by these Terms — including but not limited to exchange rate variance, dissatisfaction with readings, or change of mind. Any such chargeback may result in immediate account suspension and recovery action for the disputed amount plus any associated fees.
